Very nice work. The design of your web is excellent. Yes your my son but that is not why I praise your work. Your work is excellent. Worked many years in data processing and I can say this work is excellent.

Its obvious that you have a very strong background especially in Tae Kwon Do and list your credentials and accomplishments clearly. You respect and teach your art but then also claim to teach Taiji (Tai Chi)an art that takes decades to master. I think your website would have much greater credibility if you would remove reference to Taiji (regardless of style) and focus on what you have earned the right to teach publicly.

Well Kim, hello.

First let me thank you for your comments. Positive or critical, they will always be posted. One of the most assured things about martial arts is there is always someone willing to criticize the perceived skill sets of another, although you were not entirely critical of me and I thank you for that mention in your comments. The only thing more sure than critical opinion is the unceasing problems with the politics, which we strive to completely avoid at EMAS.

That being said, I believe if you give the site more than a cursory viewing, you shall find that it is Sifu Joshua Eaves who is the Taiji Instructor and Internal Arts Director, and not I who claim any depth of expertise in the internal arts. In fact, I believe I mention that it is my least developed area, although I continue to work toward completeness as a martial artist.

Never the less I do appreciate and agree with your comment on the decades of study which is required to master Taiji Quan through traditional training, I assure you Sifu Josh meets that criteria which can be easily demonstrated via his vast knowledge on the topic. You can locate a contact Sifu Josh Eaves link on his instructor profile page. I am sure he would be excited and pleased to discuss all of your concerns with you.

The Taiji criteria will be up soon and then you may judge for yourself his credibility if contacting him is not suitable. I would like to offer as a supporting thought that his late master and family lineage holder felt he was the one to leave the mantle of headship to upon his untimely demise...keeping that in mind I do feel your opinion on the topic is at least noteworthy.

Please continue to visit and enjoy our free offerings.

Josh Eaves has studied Taijiquan for over ten years and is on e of the best practitioner and teacher of the art I know. I recommend his class to you Kim. You should stop by and check it out. Josh and I studied with Sifu Dennis form many years and I can attest that Josh has put in the time and effort to teach Ting Family Taijiquan.
